Preventative Care

We help you prevent oral disease and tooth decay by educating you on the cause of disease and ways to prevent it. We recommend regular examinations, sealants, fluoride treatments, bi annual cleanings, and instruction regarding ways to prevent disease through regular at home care.

Cleanings and Exams

We provide a thorough assessment of your oral health by examining your teeth, gums, and soft tissues in and around your mouth and by deep cleaning your teeth, especially in hard to reach areas to achieve a healthier smile.

Whitening

We provide various options for whitening treatment. A process which can be done either at home with custom bleaching trays or an in office procedure which reverses the staining caused by coffee, tea, dark soda, red wine, and other dark foods and drink.

Tooth Colored Fillings

We use composite fillings, also known as tooth colored fillings, or bonding to achieve a more natural and healthy looking smile.

Cosmetic Dentistry

We are always striving to make sure that you are extremely happy with your smile and that it remains one of your greatest qualities. Sometimes this is achieved simply by maintaining your oral health. Other times whitening or Invisalign may be a benefit to improve your smile. Occasionally crowns or veneers may be needed to repair teeth that have had injury or decay. At every step, Dr. Steele will discuss your options with you and let you decide which course of action is best for you.

Implant Restorations

Implants are an excellent treatment options when a tooth has been removed. Implants provide a permanent solution that work almost exactly like having your natural tooth. A dental implant is a titanium post placed in the jawbone. The bone and titanium fuse replacing your tooth root and making a very solid foundation for the crown to be placed. This method also ensures that your facial bone structure stays intact after losing a tooth.

Crowns and Bridges

A crown is a solution for teeth which have either cracked, have large cavities, or are full of large fillings that are failing. They are made of porcelain and fit over a tooth to protect it from further breakdown. Bridges are crowns that have been fused together and are used to connect multiple teeth in a row and are typically used in an area that may have lost one or two teeth

Full and Partial Dentures

In the event that several or all teeth are missing, this is a more affordable way to achieve a full smile. Dentures and partial dentures are custom designed to fit your mouth and are made of plastic or porcelain or sometimes both

Extractions

When a tooth becomes infected or is so broken down with decay that it can no longer be kept in the mouth, we remove it using conservative techniques to ensure a relatively pain free and positive experience. Our intent is always for rapid healing and we use the best, most conservative, and least invasive techniques to achieve this.

Limited Root Canal Therapy

Occasionally teeth become infected and the tooth needs to have a filling that extends all the way down into the root. We provide this service to our patients when needed and refer particularly complex cases to a specialist if needed.

Children

Good oral health care starts right from birth. We typically strive to see patients as early as 6 months after their first tooth appears or around a child’s 1st birthday. We want to make sure any questions parents have can be answered and that good oral hygiene systems are in place so your child has the best possible chance of having a healthy mouth throughout their life. We treat children of all ages and focus on making sure they have a positive dental experience.
